Brittany built her career as a personal and executive assistant for high-profile families. That experience inspired her to build a search firm that fosters long-term relationships, so both clients and candidates feel more productive, successful, and fulfilled in the hiring process. Her specialty is the high-net-worth family office industry, where she has advised and worked with some of the most prominent family offices in the country. She has been quoted in leading publications including The Financial Times and Forbes as an expert in the recruiting sector.
Patricia Burkey
Director of Talent and Account Management
Patricia Burkey is Director of Talent and Account Management at Dossier. She brings over 15 years of experience in executive search and talent strategy, working with senior leaders to build high-performing teams and lasting talent infrastructure. Before joining Dossier, Patricia was a founding partner at Veren Partners, where she built a reputation for managing sensitive executive searches, succession planning, and strategic talent initiatives with discretion and professionalism. Many of the organizations she worked with operated under strict confidentiality requirements. Her expertise spans leadership transitions during acquisitions, organizational transformations, and board placements, guiding clients through these critical moments with clarity and judgment. Her client relationships include influential foundations and distinguished family offices connected to globally recognized leaders in philanthropy and business.
Lauren Shaughnessy

Lauren Shaughnessy is Director of Client Partnerships at Pocketbook Agency and Dossier. She brings nearly a decade of staffing and recruitment experience, most recently six years at 24 Seven Talent, rising from Business Development Coordinator to Director of Client Services, where she earned Presidents Club honors and the Rising Star Award. Throughout her career, Lauren has built deep expertise in client partnerships, business development, and talent strategy, focusing on cultivating long-term relationships and understanding what clients and candidates need to thrive.
Ashley Croneis
Operations Manager
Ashley Croneis has spent her career on the people side of business. She has vetted candidates, advised clients, and built a business from nothing. As Operations Manager at Dossier, she brings all of it to the searches that matter most: the hiring of senior leaders. Ashley oversees the firm's day-to-day operations, from the internal systems behind each search to the experience of every client and candidate involved. She ensures each search is handled with precision, responsiveness, and discretion, and that nothing slips between the initial conversation and the final offer. She has more than a decade of recruiting and operations experience. Few people understand the systems, communication, and coordination a boutique search firm depends on as well as someone who has built them herself. Ashley joined Dossier's sister firm, Pocketbook Agency, in 2023 and now leads operations across both firms.
